Borderlands GOTY Edition Coming in October

Gearbox has announced that a Game of the Year edition of Borderlands will be released this October. The GOTY edition will include all 4 DLC modules and a "bonus map". We'll bring you more details as they become available.

Nice, I don't have it yet and this would be a nice excuse to pick it up. Now give me my GotY Edition for Dragon Age, EA, and I'll be happy.

I'm just guessing here, but I'd say this "new map" is just an arena.

I hope so because I've been playing this game from day one and I have it on two separate platforms. I refuse to buy it again just for one map. Bastards. Also, give me more Borderlands DLC.

Supposedly, it includes all Dragon Age: Origins, Awakening, and all the DLC in it for 60 $

cool. i'll get it. i played the main game but didn't get to lvl 50... think i was 1 short. hadn't played any of the dlc.

Jeez, I have Borderlands AND Dragon Age and barely played either. Now they will have editions that have all the DLC. Oh well.

At least for Fallout 3, the DLC is still readily available for download on PSN. But that might be different, since the PS3 DLC was released at about the same time as the GOTY edition. I see no reason for them to pull it, since it's still potential revenue for people with the regular edition.

Count me among the people who have been curious to play, but holding off. The GOTY edition will be tempting, but I'll probably still wait until it's cheap. I'm more interested in the oft-rumored big bad everything edition of Dragon Age.

Yeh Borderlands is still $30 and it's been out for a year. It's arguably worth about that.
