Not anymore, it looks like Bap's has been moved to subscribers only, fits' is gone completely and the frontpage links to co-optimus, immortal machines, and bapenguin.com are gone completely.

Now off to make this same post on 1-3 other forums, ugh.

Would you expect otherwise? I am assuming Evil just wants to cut all ties and have a clean start.

So the culling begins... Well maybe the site will get some good people on that have high tolerance.

I don't see why you'd be shocked about this. We're the competition, there's no way that can be friendly.

Immortal Machines has been gone off the front page since I requested it back in early August. As soon as the Magic PC thing happened, I asked Bapenguin to remove the site from the list and I also requested to be removed from Moderator status. I am also the first red that left Evil Avatar over the incident as for us PC Gamers is was the last straw in a continued assault against our platform of choice. Essentially, in Feb '08 I decided with a few others that it was best to start a PC Gaming site rather than change anything at Evil Avatar.

I was a victim of the Evil Avatar Exodus '08. I took one for the team and my account got banned for it. Glad I never sent more than about $25.

Well, given the exodus of subscribers, putting the threads into the subscribers forum is tantamount to deleting it anyway.

True, true.

I wonder why he would put them there...

To keep the non subscribers from reading them, I assume.

Sucks this happened but let's be honest for a minute. I never donated because there was never an accounting of expenses compared to donations. That right there told me my money was better kept in my wallet. I'm sorry this split occurred for everyone that had a lot of time, effort, and money invested. I thank everyone for their dedication to that site while it lasted and I look forward to all this settling down and finding a new permanent home.

It's a fact that the only people who left in this so-called "Evil Avatar Exodus '08" were only trouble makers and trolls.

Cog has been banned? Really?

So what if I want advice for building an incredible machine involving lots of cogs? Will I have to use the more technical "round, solid, toothed wheel"?
