Fallout 3

I am aware that there is a thread for Fallout 3 in the Console Gaming section, however it's not just a console game, and that thread devolved into an argument over it's placement there. So, new thread: What's the consensus on this thing? I'm waiting on my copy to arrive, should be within the next two hours.

Personally I am trying pretty hard not to ride my bike up to gamestop and buy it. Too many games this month

I'm definitely getting it for PC, the only question is whether to make it arrive on Friday or Saturday. I'll be running the Amazon UK lottery, but I've had good luck with it in the past. I think Saturday will be the day for me because I'm seeing Quantum of Solace on Friday straight after work.

Probably grab it off Steam tonight or tomorrow. Which will put my "Currently Playing" list at WoW, WAR, Far Cry 2, Fable 2 and Fallout 3.

Weird that all three of the non-MMOs start with 'F'. That will change once Left 4 Dead is released though.

Um, so far the install screens look cool? The manual is nice...that's all I got for now

I was pissed when I found out that the download off Steam wouldn't start until 10AM PDT. Fortunately, my roommate started it up for me while I'm at work. Should be done when I get home tonight around 9PM PDT.

I think it sucks you get that movie two weeks before we do.

Well right now I am not a fan. I have played about 6 hours. I beleive for me its the graphics that turn me off. Crisp and clean as they are, everything...is brown...or shades of brown...oh and maybe a bit of gray.
I want to like it but I am having a hard time.

To be honest, if we had it this weekend I'm not sure when I'd see it. It's Halloween, bitch! And I'm sure that by the end of the week my resolve will have failed and I will own Fable or Fallout, so that'll keep me busy.

I got it, unfortunately I apparently have Popeye forearms and can't wear it. The display base is a little wonky. The clock's weight is all on one side so it took a moment to get it to sit right on the stand.

Still, its the coolest bonus I've gotten since the Big Daddy.

It's tradition. The Bond series technically started out as UK produced films, so they always come out in the UK first.

Yeah, I would usually postpone the viewing, but it just so happens that the person who was organizing the party that I was going to cancelled because of a lack of interest, so she and I are going to movies together. It helps that shes really cute too.

EDIT: That still leaves me with the whole weekend to play Fallout 3.

I'm really, really wanting to get this. I have to wait until a receipt is sent to me so that I can return a birthday gift from my sister (Why I would want the second season of a show I don't watch for my birthday I'll never know) and then apply that towards Fallout. Or Fable.
