Comic Jumper Offering Free DLC For Splosion Man

As a dedicated comic nerd, the upcoming Comic Jumper from Twisted Pixel is right up my alley. Today they're debuting screens from the "Silver Age" levels of the game. Protagonist Captain Smiley gets the chance to earn his own comic back by jumping into other comics to "fix" them. The game will be a parody-filled tour through the different genres, era and tropes of comics.

But it doesn't end at the Silver Age. Twisted Pixel is also taking Captain Smiley to the worlds of Manga. Oh, and gamers who buy the game will get a pair of free DLC levels for Twisted Pixel's last XBLA game, Splosion Man as well as new desktop themes and Avatar gear.

Look for more coverage of Comic Jumper next week from E3.

Also, Twisted Pixel's website has a trailer for the game. A 1.7 GB trailer. A trailer that's almost certainly bigger than the game itself.

I think so, only The Maw has shown up on other platforms. 'Splosion Man is still an XBLA only affair.
