Space is fucking awesome. I was up early this morning reading all about stuff that the Kepler spacecraft has helped discover. Did you know that the Kepler spacecraft discovered, and was later confirmed, the first planet orbiting a binary star system? Tatooine is real bitches!

And today I got to look at the Sun! Through a telescope. I've never done that before, it was pretty cool. There's a whole gob of solar activity going on right now, and there was a huge solar flare last night that will hit Earth tonight, possibly with some low-latitude aurora activity! I have speculated that this may be why I'm having such trouble with bluetooth and 3g signals outdoors today but that could just be a fluke.

Space is fucking awesome.

How can someone who sounds like the average guy on the street be bad? If you want realistic voice work, it doesn't get any more real than someone who sounds like a regular person.
With FemShep it's painfully obvious that it's just an actress reading lines because nobody actually speaks like that in real life. Totally breaks the immersion.

Wow, at no point have I ever been disappointed by FemShep's voice work. She's not even all that dramatic in most cases. Just sounds like a no nonsense charismatic person to me.

In fact, I've been replaying ME2 the last few days before I start the next one, and this time I went through as FemShep. My original playthrough of ME2 was with BroShep, and while it wasn't necessarily bad, I am definitely enjoying FemShep more, and plan to stick with her in ME3, at least for the initial playthrough.

Can you sex change your sheps between games or are you stuck with the Shep from your ME 1 save?

I think you can make as many different Sheps as you want, but I think if you want to carry over your progress from the earlier games you have to keep the same gender (not sure though).

Hmmm never thought of it like this. I would have to think that one over. I don't really think about it until some nerd who seems obsessed with the comparison and posts about it most of the times its ever mentioned. I just like the actual Sheppard because I want to be a male avatar in a futuristic shooter. So its the normal Sheppard for me. Each to their own. Hell if I could have had a Geth Sheppard I would have played as it

Yeah, I think you're stuck with the sex, since some options which affect the game depend on your gender.

Silent: I totally disagree with you. My problem was BroShep sounded TOO average; as in he wasn't even trying. FemShep (Jennifer Hale) really knocks it out of the park. I've yet to be disappointed with her work, or find it breaking my immersion.

I prefer the DESIGN for the Male Shepard, but I agree that the voice acting is subpar at best.

I'd rather they have gotten someone who sounds more like a marine or other hero.

The official FemShep design barely looks old enough to make legal porn, let alone be a universe saving badass.

My FemShep looked a lot more grown up.
