Weekend Gaming - What's in your Queue?

Finally, the weekend arrives. Another big week of new releases so plenty to choose from but how much time to you really have to play them all? I don't have any time. Too busy with school so I'm cutting back on my "hopes" of what I will play...my hopes are:

Dead Space- Started to play this last night and it spooked me enough I had to stop playing. I scare easy so I'm not a good judge whether a title is truly scary but...DS is creepy enough.

Time Hollow- hoping to play this while I watch some TV. It seems each time I'm watching TV these days I'm falling asleep I'm so tired...

GH III- Maybe some Co-op with Ms. Claus if she's not busy playing Fable 2. Speaking of which...Mag you get Fable 2 yet ?

So what is everybody playing?

This weekend is quite frankly scary gaming wise. After picking up beta's for both Resistance 2 and CoD5 care of Fileplanet I'm also going to have to juggle that with Fable 2 and Dead Space. Oh and fit in Warhammer Online to boot. I think it's safe to say my head is likely to explode.

Gonna check out some Dead Space and Farcry2 and maybe a few minutes of EvE. Other than that... more paper writing time.

No idea. Will probably shuffle through some of my older titles and see if there'a anything that grabs me. I know I'm nearly finished my second run through of Mass Effect, but I haven't touched that in months.

I could also finally get into Episode 1/2 for half-Life. I only just got around to finishing off the game proper last week, so it might be an idea while it's still fresh in my mind.

This is what I'll be spending my weekend with too. And I'm the same way; I scare very easy, and I have to take breaks just to calm down, but it's just so damn good I can't stop playing.

Last night when I was playing chapter five something (can't remember what it was) scared the shit out of made both me and my girlfriend (she's watching me play), and we screamed so loud that our neighbor's dog started barking.

Finally finished MGS1-3. I just started MGS4 and finished Act 1 last night, I hope to get through Act 2 this weekend and play some GH:WT Sunday.

Still going on through Wild ARMs XF. I'm just about midway through the 4th act (at 52 hours), which is the last act before the final stage of the game. Hopefully I'll get a good amount of time with the game, since as soon as I finish it I'll be going to grab the new Star Ocean.

FFXI once again is back in the regular rotation. I'm working on San d'Oria [S] quests now, which I should be able to finish this weekend other than the very last one, which I'll need help with.

Other than that, I'll be putting some time into the Resistance 2 beta co-op. That is so much fun.

At least you had someone there to scream with. That was my mistake last night. Ms. Claus went out and I had a few hours to myself, decided to treat myself to playing Dead Space. I figure try it out to see how I would like it. Well, I like it...but it's not a game I think i'll be playing alone, in the dark, in an attic, in an old house where you can hear the house making noises...yeah...so I will be screaming with Ms. Claus on this game...

After I turned Dead Space off I went to play something safe....GH III was nice and noisey

I downloaded the Resistance 2 beta last night and will probably give it a go this week end. I'm going to pick up and play something on the DS or PSP this weekend too. I just don't know what yet.

Fable 2 this weekend. Had to restart the game twice so far because of bugs. Not cool.

I didn't find Dead Space scary. The monsters themselves, the amount of action in the game (and enemies) really ruined the "scare" for me. Too much fighting means I don't have time to be freaked out. I think they should have paced the enemy encounters better.

That's a good idea, really, because I actually had nightmares earlier this week, after having played it right up until bedtime.

It felt like being 8 years old again, having watched A Nightmare on Elm Street, even though I wasn't allowed to.

One wasn't a bug, but a bad development decision. I was boxed in an alley by townies and couldn't get past them. Had to restart.

Second time I somehow accrued 6 coins instead of 5 before buying the Music Box...and then the vendor wouldn't even talk to me so I could buy it--even my bread trail wouldn't work. The mission was borked. The mission that you NEED to even start your adventure!! I was ripped and had to start the entire game over again.

Hopefully that's the last issue I encounter, but having encountered 2 in the prologue alone, I'm skeptical.

Loads of Fable 2. Also got Resistance from GF and a Resistance 2 beta code but I doubt I'll make it to either.

Lol, that last one sounds pretty borked indeed. 6 coins hay, I'm going to try that out sometime

First one seemed like kinda of an accident though.

Didn't have any problems yet, except for a Hobbe getting stuck in a wall. Or people walking through a solid wooden door, but I can live with that.
