Looks interesting, though I've taken From Software games with a grain of salt recently. Looks almost like it could be a Otogi spiritual successor.

Looking at some pics, having a sword let me atleast hope they are bringing some Otogi goodness back. Somethings I saw on the other site.

- Create your own hero with many customization options.
- You will have to battle against huge monsters.

I hope like Otogi. I just can't stop talking about that game. Think I'm going to have to finally go through both games back to back.

You know, this is a common belief but I have to be honest, I know nothing of this Otogi I keep hearing about.

I haven't played it myself but the art direction is phenomenal. This looks like a western style rpg by an Japanese company. It will be interesting how the game turns out.

Violent you just made me put down food. I don't like to put down food. If you have a old Xbox, locate these games at once and do yourself the favor. If you don't have an old xbox, buy one.

Damn near everything, destructible. Demons. Flying. Swords. Magic orbs. Magic powers. Customization and leveling for the character.

Otogi 1&2 are additional reasons I hope MS keeps working on backwards compatibility. Great games, though I'd recommend 2 over the first one. It just has better polish and design, plus the different characters are a lot of fun.

Mister Slim is right about 2 being better. But I think both games should be experienced. It's like saying God of War 2 is better so don't bother with God of War 1.

I tried to bother with God Of War 1, but for some reason the disk won't play on my perfectly good PS2. Unfortunate considering all the great things I heard about it. Maybe one day I'll see for myself.

Based on Siliconera's hands-on with a new demo at the Asia Game Show, they take notice of a small detail which could indicate that it may catch a US release:

The other feature, and this is something King’s Field fans might be interested in, is the build of Demon’s Souls at the Asia Game Show was entirely in English. This pretty much confirms Demon’s Souls is coming out in English at least in Hong Kong. Sony Computer Entertainment Asia is publishing Demon’s Souls this February, which is the same month Japan gets it. No word if Sony Computer Entertainment America is going to take care of Demon’s Souls here, but it seems likely that they or someone else will.

Tell me more. I'm more interested in the Ninja game From has coming out more. If this did come to the States however, and averages in the 7+ range, I'll most likely get. I like From Software a lot.

That looked a lot better than I thought it would look, although I still think Japnese studios (exluding Capcom) really have a lot to do on the character animation front (not that it looks bad, but still a bit like PS2 animation).
