Archer

Ok I love it.
The first episode was ok but man. I dig this show so much.

Anyone else love it? Like it? Hate it?

I think I've seen three episodes so far (forgot to watch last week), but all episodes have been great. Here's to hoping it has enough legs and material to keep it going for many seasons.

I actually dig the show a lot. I'm motivated to check out that show Frisky Dingo cause of it. At first I thought it was only going to be about them hanging around the office. I'm glad the last few have had them out of the country.

The best part is they could send him on tons of missions and just have more and more stuff.
Some of it is outrageous to me.
When he holds his ex as a hostage to stop the spy from shooting his mom was awesome.
Spy-"I don't care if you shoot her"

Hahahah. Fuck.

Frisky DIngo was great, but don't expect much resolution from it. It was a lot more random than Archer, more in the vein of Sealab 2021. Unlike Sealab, it had continuity mixed in with the jokes.

Love Archer too. Those guys bring the funny.

I have enjoyed the performances so far but there's going to need to be some evolution or change of venue soon or it's going to get a bit stale.

I gotta check this out. Frisky Dingo is my all time favorite comedy animated thing ever, and I miss it dearly.

Cartoon has a very heavy "child's toy" type stigma to it, like video games. So to try to differentiate something like Archer from... <insert Saturday Morning Cartoon Here>, people tend to shy away from the "cartoon" label.
Even though originally cartoons were not meant to be for kids.

But if you want to be a pretentious manchild, use a real pretentious manchildy term like Action Figure, or Graphic Novel

My brother was raving about this show to me. I agreed to check it out in return for him checking out Venture Brothers.

Liking both shows, I see where both can be enjoyed by the same individual.

Totally agree with mightbe, it's fun, but I can see it getting old pretty fast.

I've only seen the first few episodes as well, but I've high hopes. Hopefully they'll venture out of the office a bit, take us on a mission or two.

H. Jon Benjamin could read the yellow pages to me and I would love it. He makes just about any show that he's in.

Archer is one of the highlights of my week. It gives me that fresh sense of "I can't believe they said/did that" that I used to get from South Park when it first came out.

Archer: Help... help.
Assassin/Cook: What's wrong.
Archer: No, I was addressing you. Help.

classic.

I watched the first episode and definitely enjoyed it. Finally glad to see Benjamin get a lead role. He has such great delivery.

I finally saw a couple of episodes last night and definitely got that "OMG, I can't believe they got away with that" feeling. lol.

I espeically loved during the "kill, f@#k or marry" segment, no one picked option 3 for anyone. lol
