Agreed. I thought about Case Zero. If it's a demo that masquerades as a DLG, then I can at least make some peace with it despite not really liking the practice. But esp. from Capcom, I'm not feeling much love.

I don't even know what I watched in that trailer. A part of me wants to pay for the demo out of sheer morbid curiosity. The other part of me has never paid for a demo before and knows I'm not gonna start now.

It seems that Target has the Ghost Recon 3DS game (the SRPG one) on sale for $17 this week, I'm going to try and get a copy of it before work tonight. Since I've heard so many good things about it in this thread.

That's a great deal for GR. I'm not much into the genre typically (Advance Wars, etc.) as I'm often pretty bad and get stuck early on for whatever reason, but I found GR to be incredibly accessible and fun to boot. The side-missions are particularly good and a nice change of pace with some interesting objectives/parameters. Personally, my favorite of the launch titles.

Presented as an extremely cool bonus to early adopters, Nintendo of America has announced a "Nintendo 3DS Ambassador" program which allows them (and myself as well) to be privy to the following:

1. Starting on September 1st, five of ten first-party NES Virtual Console games will be free for ambassadors to download before the paid versions are released on the eShop.

2. Before the end of the year, 10 first-party GBA Virtual Console titles will be available for ambassadors to download. These, unlike the NES titles, are ONLY available to ambassadors.

In order to qualify, you need to either obtain the latest firmware, or access the eShop from now until August 11th.

Yeah, I got a Spotpass announcement, a week or so ago, giving me the dates and the same titles that have been in all the press releases. Pretty much confirms it for Europe as well.

My biggest E3 disappointment was not being able to play KH there, it was literally the only game I wanted to try out, so I'm glad that it's finally being shown off.
