I only got pokemon when I got my 3DS. I'm thinking of heading into Cornwall today and grabbing a few more games. Most likely Ghost Recon or maybe Street Fighter. Not sure yet. I also live in too small of a town. I think i'm the only person here with a 3DS.

Hehe. I try to scrub off as much speed as I can and land on the edge of the white circle. If I do it just right, he takes about three steps into the center of the bullseye. If not, I crash land and break both his legs. I just always nail the edge of the white circle!

See, I thought it would be MY firewall causing problems. I put my 3DS into my DMZ, and it didn't solve the problem. He's apparently having friend matches with other people. I'll try more friend matches to see if the problem is actually me.

I consolidate everyone's friend code and, if applicable, QR code, onto a new thread specifically for the purpose of keeping track of these things!

May make it easier for new owners to find other CoGers.

I'm not playing DS games on my 3DS anymore. Not because they look bad or anything but because THE POWER BUTTON IS WHERE THE START BUTTON USED TO BE!

I think I lost about 40 minutes of progress in Radiant Historia because I went to press Start (in the dark) and to my horror the machine went blank. I was so mad...

I have almost done this. I put the thumb on the button and then went "wait... that feels weird... and lifted just in time.

I was wondering if the abundance of 3DS units still on the shelves was because of lackluster demand or Nintendo finally making enough launch units. I guess that question is answered.

Yeah, they really went all out on stocking this thing. I guess that makes me feel a bit stupid for getting in line an hour early at Gamestop (though, I did snag their only copy of Samurai Warriors as a reward), but I'm glad people won't have any trouble picking one up if they are still undecided.

I managed to do that in a 3DS game, so I got to learn the lesson with no major detriment. I am just waiting for the day when I do it after getting some new captures in pokemon. then I ragequit.

I don't think the DS did, and the closest thing the GameCube had was Luigi's Mansion.

No, the Gamecube only had Luigi's Mansion, which I don't think qualifies.

The Virtual Boy didn't have much in the way of great launch titles. It came with Mario Tennis as a pack-in. The best first-party titles it got were Wario Land and Teleroboxer, and I don't remember if they were launch titles (they probably were).
