Damn, this week is all about Nintendo platform stuff, with Spirit Tracks and Silent Hill being the best coming out. Not that I can afford any of it.

Yeah. I'm curious about those two, but regardless of how good they are, I won't be picking them up for quite some time.

Any word on whether or not Spirit Tracks is as repetitive as its older brother? I love the cel-shaded world (Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game) but I just couldn't finish the last one.

From all accounts, they've made Spirit Tracks much less repetitive than Phantom Hourglass. That was the one thing that I was leery about and hearing that you dont' have to repeat floors of the central dungeon ad nauseum sealed the deal for me.

I'm going to be very tempted by Spirit Tracks and Silent Hill on the Wii. Still not 100% sure which version of Silent Hill I'll get, what with the PS2/PSP versions hitting next year.

Bookworm on DS is about 3 years too late! Seriously, what took them so long, and why can I still not get a version of this for 360's XBLA? I swear PopCap doesn't want money....

I know I'm getting Spirit Tracks (I'm a Zelda nut, and I still managed to enjoy Phantom Hourglass despite its flaws), and I'm more than a little interested in both Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Saboteur (though each of those might be a rental).

Oh, and I'll probably pick up the new Harry Potter at some point, too.

Good to hear about Spirit Tracks being (hopefully significantly) less repetitive. Just realized about the HP thing...shit. I own all the other movies on DVD but I think I'm going to hold out until the whole series is released as a set.

I get giddy at the thought of an 8-movie Blu-ray set, but I'm a sucker for collections (and probably wasn't going to use that kidney I'll have to hock to pay for it, anyway).

If I had the spare cash to throw around right now I'd probably pick up that new Switch Shot so I could have second one. The Switch Shot is the best Wii blaster attachment I've come across so far, though it would be nice if it were a little more balanced.

Is it Bookworm Adventures or just plain Bookworm? I'd be tempted to grab the Adventures version of it but not the regular one.

I'm pretty sure it's just the original Bookworm.

Between that and Safecracker it appears the DS is getting the PC's old leftovers.

Sadly, there is a huge market for games like that. A more casual gamer...thinking my future mom in law would pick up both of these...but she'll be content for a month or more with them. Of course, i'll probably buy them for her so i'm just as guilty

I don't even have a problem with games like this hitting the DS, though when you concider how cheap they are on PC, it's a shame they charge what they charge.

If Bookworm was the full Bookworm Adventures, I'd be hardpressed to say no to it. But just the plain-Jane version of Bookworm? Sigh.
