Too Human...2?

Has anything on this game been announced yet? Anyone know what the Big D is working on?

No word on either front that I know of. Big D has been interviewed lately, but that was more about the layoffs in game companies.

The last I heard they are still working on the franchise, but have made no formal announcements.

I was stunned how little I liked the first one yet still wanted it to succeed.
I haven't seen a single thing on the second one. Makes me wonder if old D is on his way out like the other MS studios.

I enjoyed Too Human a lot. I borrowed it and had fun with it, but it definitely had problems. I actually thought the combat was pretty cool (if nonsensical), but the game was just terribly repetitive (enemies were all the same and the environments for the actual levels sucked out loud).

The story was cool, though. Really fucking cool.

Total failure for me. I could have even overlooked the iceskating.

I just wish it would be a 2010 game. As Too Human had some ideas (some good, some not so good, some not executed so great) and a cool setting and a neat take on an old story.

All the sequel has to do is make the skill trees better and either make targeting certain things easier, or not as important to have to perform.

They also signed a publishing deal with Sega a while back, so TH2 might be on in hold in favour of working on that. Whatevr they're currently working on, it aparently has the working title "Siren in the Maelstrom"

I agree. Buttons would have me play the game a whole lot more. The stick just felt like hitting a mosquito with a baseball bat. If there was a vote for worst design decisions lately it would have been up there.

Not that it was unplayable, just freeaking annoying. I couldn't get over the fact I had no camera control in combat either.

IIRC, SK's next project is something for Sega. I think it's a Horror/Thriller game called 'The Box'.

If they go with "Too Human 2" I vote the tagline be "Be humaner".

I've played very little of this, just the first level with a buddy online. Weird that all of the cutscenes were, well, cut because of that.

The control scheme is... different. Different doesn't always mean good, just FYI there SK.

if i had to money i would totally buy the IP and show it to more talented hand like Bioware or even Obsidian. SK isnt the greatest of developers. I know hey made Metal gear solid for gamecube and Eternal Darkness. But MGS was just a port.

Btw this is coming from a Too Human fan ive finished the game multiple times.

I just think Bioware or Obsidian could do a better job
