If that spoiler is real, I can't decide if it's the worst plot twist ever or the most awesome. Either way, it already has me looking forward to the third game (again, if true).

It's real. At least the 20 or so posters are all debating it and they have all beat it as of last night and early this morning.

Man not me. I will still go get this tomorrow but if that's the story. Well, from the way it sounds here I am not at all interested. But I always give games a shot.

I know I asked this in the other thread, but didn't get a definitive answer. Is there a reason to pick this game up for the system I beat the first game on? I thought I remember there being some form of "bonus" if AC2 detected a completed AC1 save game.

I'm leaning toward the PS3 to avoid the jet-engine but if there's a strong incentive to grab the 360 version since I completed AC1 there, I'll go that route.

After watching the live action shorts, I would totally love to get this game, but I've got a few games on my plate right now that I want to finish. I'll give it a rent for sure.

Man, I sure hope so. I beat AC1 to 100% completion, including ALL of the flags. So that would be sweet if there was some sort of bonus in the second game for that.

Not at all. Pick up the PS3 version. The only thing I have read is that it has tearing and more framerate dips than the 360. I think thats expected as AC1 had some issues as well at first.

I'll be picking it up also, but I expect I'll be a day or so behind the curve. Work's making it impossible to get on day 1.

I didn't have any problems with AC1, I rather enjoyed it. I've been looking forward to seeing the next piece of the story.

I did see your question in the other thread. I tried searching for the answer but came up with nothing. I didn't report back because just because I couldn't find something doesn't mean there isn't a bonus. I would have loved there to be a bonus for finishing AC1.

I'm picking it up tonight but i'll soon be behind the curve too. I'm going to play enough tonight to see the opening then...well not sure how much i'll get in the rest of the week.

It doesn't. Gametrailers or IGN had a video interview months ago and they said something like will it have Mass Effect style savegame data and the developer said. No. It will be good if you played the first to understand more but no.

Also...NO real startup helping backstory data occurs. I just got back from watching the starting. The game THROWS you into it. So its awesome if you have played a bit..weird without story backing if you have not.

Enjoy it guys. I'll be picking this up sometime in the next couple months. I want to playthrough a couple other games first.

Moved this to console since I just realized that it was in General and the PC version doesn't come out until sometime in Q1 2010...if then.
