New Need for Speed: Undercover Car Shots

Aeropause points us towards an update on the Need for Speed: Undercover Tri-City Carlot that shows off some of the cars that will be featured in the game. The lineup includes racing genre mainstays such as the Lancer Evo, as well as a 2006 Aston Martin DB9, 2006 Koenigsegg CCX, and the 2007 Audi TT (pictured below).

I love the Need For Speed games, but I hate slingshot racing. I can upgrade my ride, but what's the point when it doesn't give me any sort of edge?

The last game in the series that no one played because it was so different than the last few in the series, ProStreet, did not have slingshot AI. Hopefully the same will hold true with this game.

Need for Speed Underground 2 didn't have rubber band racing either I don't think. I remember completely owning the AI in that game. Like I didn't even have to try because they were miles behind me. Most Wanted however, was very annoying. If I'm 1200 feet in front of the guy behind me and I'm doing 210 mph, then when the guy catches up to me that means he has to be going like 500 mph. That's pretty stupid.

Easy trick to beat them, don't use nitro. They have unlimited boost, you don't unless you cheat.

I assume this is screen shots, rather than pre-renders? Cause they look pretty damned sweet.

I'd buy this game even if it was just one track, one cop and me in the DB9.
