Borderlands PC Players

UPDATE: A few oft asked questions about the PC version answered below!

What ports to forward:
Quote:
7777
28900
27900
28910
28902 - seems like this needs to be open too.
A list of .ini tweaks:
http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com...ad.php?t=79043
I strongly suggest disabling movies and in-game voice (and using vent/skype as a replacement).

Original Post:

If you haven't yet joined the CoG Steam group, get on that shit.

Now if you're going to be hitting the 'lands via PC, chat in here and put together some launch day foursomes. After that we'll just love on eachother via steam friends and keep our RPG FPS community going strong.

If someone starts a 360 B-lands players thread lemme know and I'll link to it here.

This should be a good resource for folks deciding between the two versions if they want Cogger company.

I'll likely be playing all night on release night and I've got a pre-order via Steam.

I'll be there once I buy a PC. I hear there's a lot of cool games on that console.

PC for me, but you guys already knew that.

I have a feeling when this game releases you won't be hard up to find a squad to join every night, on either console.

PC for me. The requirements listed on Steam are pretty low.

(I have a single core processor but a Radeon 4850 card and it looks like Borderlands is much heavier on the gfx card, which is nice. Still need to upgrade for Dragon Age though. =/ )

I'll be outta town on launch week, but count me in once I'm back. I guess we'll see how the level gap works out.

I pre-ordered my copy on Steam earlier today. I'm down and most of you who have posted so far are already on my friends list. Just shoot me an invite if you see me online.

Hmmm... seems I'm alone in being entirely unaroused by this game. I wish you all many happy hours of gaming.

I probably won't grab it for a couple weeks after release, but I'll be having it for sure.

It's in a 4-pack now, for $33.75, same as L4D2. Maybe we could get someone that isn't lazy like me, to frontpage it or something? Seems like good news for a lot of people (if they haven't preordered already).
