I'm a huge AiC fan, but I don't think I like the new songs all that much. Definitely getting "Would?," "No Excuses," and "Rooster" though.

I was about to agree, but then realized I have not even heard the new songs yet. However, I cannot see them as the same band without Layne.

Have they ever before released three songs from the same artist and not had them available as a pack?

At least A Looking in View is better than Check My Brain.

Edit: Ondo, the Breaking Benjamin songs are a pack, I think the Doc just forgot to copy that over.

Believe it or not...It's a weird feeling listing to the new songs...almost like seeing a ghost. It sounds just like AiC of old.

Honestly...I really like it...I think the magic of AiC was the harmonizing and they found someone who is perfect to fill Lyane's shoes. It's been 7 years...they grieved, they decided not to continue, an opportunity presented and they decided it was time to move on with the same sound.

I'm all for it. "A looking In View" is awesome.

OMG OMG OMG OMG

Sorry, that and Would are like, my two favorite sing along AiC songs. Damn, this may force me to play some Rock Band again.

So HarmonixSean tweeted that the Breaking Benjamin songs will also be in a pack, as normal.

Hell yeah, I'm excited about these. I'll try to grab the Breaking Benjamin and Alice in Chains songs.

I agree that the new singer definitely sounds similar to Layne, and in general the music still sounds like AiC. However, "Check My Brain" is so monotonous both musically and lyrically, that it's painful to listen to.

"A Looking in View" is actually a pretty decent song, but I've only heard it a couple times.

Sometimes I wonder why bands pick certain songs as their lead single...I really think that they picked "Check My Brain" because it's the best song to compare Will's voice to layne's...it's no where near the best song on the album lyrically but it's fast paced and it hammers that chorus into your head.

Besides "Check My Brain" I'm good with all the other songwriting on the album, though I don't hate Check My Brain...It's just not my favorite. If I had to guess...I would look to see Private Hell as a single eventually. Probably should have been their first single.

Who the fuck LIKES Kula Shaker?

I would rather some better songs from that era of music went up.. Manic Street Preachers, Kenickie, more Blur... just fucking damn near anything else from 1995 is better than them.

I was thinking the same thing. Huh, '95? I would have been in high school.

*Thinking*

Nope...doesn't ring a bell.
