I have to ask, are those figures really right?
As I'd expect children to be flying to school on their own personal hover bikes if that much money was spent on education.

I was just reading this speech (the original, non-sarcastic one) last night at a friend's house. Very interesting stuff Ike warned against, especially considering his role in it.

Eisenhower is also quoted, IIRC, that the next enemy would be coming from the stars.
 Not that I disagree with his outgoing warning, just that he ended up saying something AWESOME!
