Apparently there's some Sony exec with a pizza fettish.

First, there was the Everquest 2 "/pizza" feature.

Looks like Sony loved the idea so much, they're continuing the crusade.

The only pizza worse than Papa Johns is Dominos.

Dominos= shit on cardboard
Papa Johns= Shit on a stale cracker

Eh, I think Papa Johns is okay for chain pizza. I got burnt out on it in college though, because it is cheap and there was a Papa Johns right down the street.

Then I discovered a local place down an alleyway where I could get a gigantic, greasy calzone for $5.

It's really nothing special. The default home page on the PS3 web browser now has an ad for Papa John's. Like any other ad, if you click it, it takes you to their page... where you can place an order.

Only a matter of weeks ago, we had people saying things like, 'I don't mind advertising, as long as it is game-related.' Now, the adverts are pizza-related.

It's an internet browser. They are full of ads already.

This is what I used to think but then I started going to college with a Papa John's directly across the street from the building my classes are in. Damnit, there's only so many times you can eat the cheap, convenient pizza before you develop a taste for it.

Ahh! I thougvht it was one of the new adverts in the XMB, not in the Internet browser.

What is the big deal then? I can order pizza from any Internet browser, not just the one on my PC, but the one on my phone, the one on my Wii, or on my DSi. A web browser is just a web browser.

It's annoying only because when you open the web browser you'll get a random (I think it's random) center link, usually saying what new game is out or a new episode of Pulse or something, but sometimes it's the Papa Johns thing.

It is one step closer to ads on the XMB, though, which will really piss me off. Not that I can actually do anything about it, but it'll still piss me off.

People that trash chain restaurants have to realize that the individual location, and how it is run, has much more to do with the quality of food (well, the taste anyhow) than the name on the sign. The differences in locations can be night and day.

Also, this. I've had amazing Pizza Hut...but recently here I've had the worst pizza ever from Pizza Hut. I hat Dominos, but I had a really good pizza from them a few months ago from a diff. location.

Also, I love Papa John's...too bad it's not in Edmonton anymore.

Roughly the best pizza I have ever had came from a Pizza Hut. More are not so good.

I eat pizza like any other food. If I am looking for a quick fix chain restaurant pizza is fine. If I want something a little better I will go someplace that serves better pizza. One of my favorites is a local place in Hot Springs, Rocky's Corner. Pretty decent food and price.
