Professor Layton takes over Chicago transit!

I took the bus to pick up a rental car and when I got on I was greeted by an entire bus dedicated to the new Professor Layton game. As I had never seen advertising for a game on a bus before (much less an entire bus) I took photos:

I was genuinely surprised. But the best was yet to come! I boarded another bus (different route) and what greeted me? That's right:

Astonishing. I've seen all the ad space on a bus dedicated to one particular product or endorsement before, but this was quite a surprise.

These have been appearing on subways in Manhattan as well.

Some of our bus stops had Sims 3 ads on them for a while.

Yeah, not nearly as cool, but still.

Wow, that's awesome. I love the slogan, "The satisfying, infuriating, satisfying again puzzle game." It's SO true.

Interesting note about the Professor Layton ads: all the people pictured in the ads playing the game are women in their 20s-30s.

The game is worth buying twice , thats how good it is. I love when I see ads for it around town and on the bus like you just posted. How can Nintendo be so smart with some stuff and so naive/stupid with other stuff. DSiware should be a gold mine and yet its still complete crap except for a handful of items.

My sister (a woman in her 20s) loves Layton. She's never really liked games in general, but digs the hell out of the man in the top hat.

My girlfriend likes to solves the puzzles with me. However, the other night she came over to hang out and I was deeply involved in embodying Batman. She said to me, "You go ahead and keep playing that game, where's the puzzle game? I'll play that."

She started up her own game of Layton. I was so proud. *sniff*

My wife started up her own game of Batman. I think I win.

Maybe I could get a job playing, promoting, and endorsing Layton while riding on the subway all day long.
