Excellent! Looking forward to a price cut. Wasn't there a thread around here where people bet on when Sony would cut the PS3 price? I think it would be interesting to look back on that thread. A number of people are gonna need new bets.

Rock Band seems like it is really trying to step up the game, and make itself into a new type of distribution channel. Every time I read articles about the direction MTV is going with the game, the more I think they really 'get it' compared to Activision.

Maybe they could get around to fixing Sonic... Everyone knows how except Sonic Team.

I believe there's a handful of peeps around here that are in the beta. I've been invited but I haven't had the time to try it out lately.

I've more or less lost interest in music based games, but the video IGN put up looked pretty good. I didn't expect them to be that well implemented.

Love that PS3 news. A cheaper PS3 is what I'm hanging out for.

Was anyone actually making bets? I don't recall anyone taking a staunch position saying when they thought it would happen. Plenty of us have said when they should do it, but we don't have to worry about silly things like profits.

I've never been able to get the DnD online beta to work. I've tried installing it twice, the second time after a full format of the hard drive (for unrelated issues), and both times the folder is created locked as read-only, and I'm unable to change this. (Even via Unlocker!!!)

I'm hoping they get this fixed for the full release because I'm really eager to see what they've done with it.
