Alien Breed Evolution Announced

I guess sometimes you can go home again. Developer Team 17 is reviving the cult classic PC action series Alien Breed for the current generation with Alien Breed Evolution.

Few details of the game were revealed. Pretty much all we know is that it will be a top-down shooter with co-op, and it's going to be distributed digitally. No word on when we'll be seeing it or which digital service it will be on. But as an old, old school gamer just seeing the name Alien Breed put a smile on my face.

I'd say this is a cult classic Amiga action series...

Anyway, is this confirmed PC only, since it's posted as PC gaming news? I sure hope this is PS3 bound too.

It's using UE3, so multiple platforms seems likely.

Edit: According to MTV it's coming to 360/PS3, though who knows with that source.
