Well, based on what I've seen, neither could BioWare.

I thought I had a decent male Ryder, but I hate how bulging out his eyes look. I think I'm going to try again. :S

Really wished there was an Oblivion/Skyrim style "are you sure?" moment after an hour of gameplay to let you change things up one last time before getting into the meat and potatoes of the game. Hearing that I can't skip cutscenes is making me cringe already at having to restart.

In many ways, my feelings for this are the complete opposite to those I had for Horizon. I have been excited about MEA since it was announced, but early word has really put me off. I'm happy waiting a couple of months until it's patched - maybe I'll buy it then.

Fsck YES, they gave me a Mako!

(I know it isn't called a Mako, but still.)

If the rest of the game is as awesome a time as I'm having on Eos, I'm getting my money's worth.

The short of it is if you liked dragon age inquisition then you'll like this. I don't know if there's singing in it however.

Super psyched to start playing today at lunch. Head downstairs to the man cave, fire it up... black screen with sound. Alt-Enter shouldn't be a solution to this, nor should the corsair uninstall (which didn't help.) Frustrating beyond belief that it is so hard to get a working product.

See, I have a corsair keyboard but I didn't have that problem. But I don't have my keyboard's light effects tied to my games if that's the problem other corsair kb owners are having.

I'm about an hour and a half in and the rest of my time has been with the MP. It's fun but I also have a pool of 6ppl I play it with. The RNG system is pretty terrible.

Okay so having jumped through a few hoops I've come to realise this. My character doesn't have the dopey facial expressions the default one has with that idiot smile when talking to characters. What she does share with the default character however is the vacant look like she stopped listening to the conversation or is somewhere else in her head.

So if the smiling like an idiot is what bothers you I urge you to make a custom character.

Every character has dead eyes in this game. Not sure how they managed that.

It's a bit unnerving. Everyone just stares past you like you don't exist.

Quick tip for anyone on PC. When you open up the map you expect pressing 'm' again would close it and it tells you to press ESC to close. Don't. It takes you to the game menu.

PRESS TAB. It will take y ou back to the action.

I've been playing on PC with a controller so far and enjoying myself.

Really wish there was a quick save feature. Relying on autosaves is irritating.

Pause the game and go up to "Save". The only time you can't save manually is during core events in story missions.

Good to know, thanks.

I'm guessing the few times I tried to save was during a core event or story mission, then gave up on it.

That said, I'd still like a quicksave feature.
