Valve has worked on a system to temp ban players who DC a lot, but they haven't been too successful. But you're right, most games seem to see at least one DC within the first 5 minutes, a which point you often have an exodus.

Sucks to hear that you are finding the people are often disconnecting in your games. I guess have been lucky as it does not seem to happen to often in my games.

As for enchantress she shines better in the lower levels by jungling and then coming out and ganking/pushing with creeps. Which it sounds like your game would not have allowed you to do. Later on she can deal a ton of damage with her ultimate.

Maybe NA is better than EU in regards to disconnects. I think playing Single Draft probably doesn't help either because a lot of people seem to miss the point of getting random heroes and if they don't get one they like, they just quit. I personally love it. I'd never have tried out Crystal Maiden otherwise and I loved playing as her.
