It's too bad that as a nation we haven't yet accepted dying with dignity as a choice one can make for themselves. Instead, you have to do something ridiculous like jump off a bridge, shoot yourself in the head, or slice open your veins.

When you are faced with a terminal illness maybe you'll change the toot of your horn. Just sayin'

It's easy to stand by your beliefs, it's harder to follow through on them.

Not sure of your point here. He wasn't saying Scott was in the wrong for what he did.

Am I missing something?

What he's saying is that this man should have had assisted suicide as an option.

In this country, it is not really an option.

I was talking about the lack of assisted suicide as an option, which is a dignified way to end your life on your own terms.

Loved Revenge and Spy Game of his.

... also, out of curiosity, when you jump from the Vincent Thomas Bridge is it the impact that kills you?

Yes.

Sucks, mainly the cancer. I agree that people facing a fatal illness should have a legal choice other than living through the pointless agony that is to come.

True Romance was an amazing film. Slater's best work, even though that might not be saying much.

A lot of people don't realize that True Romance was an early Tarantino script and that a few of the characters tie back into his overall universe.

Hmm. So the family issued a statement. He did not have brain cancer at all.
But weirdly the wife was the one who said it and the family is saying she completely lied. I wonder if there was a split of some kind and she lied, or the family lied. The autopsy also indicated no signs of cancer either but samples are being checked for anything else amiss.
Something is odd. Man that sucks.

Apparently your point flew right over my head. My bad.

Jacking it with a belt around your neck in a closet is the way to go. They'll hate you and tell the public because they had clean up all that spooge but got dammit you went out with a smile in your heart. Or blue balls in guess.

Even if these did a comprehensive autopsy immediately, things can still be missed. I'm gonna wait for the blood test for clarification.

So the difference between a grandiose suicide and and a little to much Michael Hutchence at Casa de Xerxes with be a note?

Well that one's easy, it's Fox news. No on expects sense from Fox.

Yeah, seems to be a lot of conflicting reports on this one. May have to wait a few weeks for things to be cleared up. Still, shame to lose a talented person.

Yep for sure. Sounds like there were some personal issues going on. But a terminal cancer would show up on any basic med student level autopsy. So there is most definantly some weirdness here. I agree about losing anyone and of course he was very talented. IMHO at least.

What would be truly horrific is a misdiagnosis. Or a drunk coroner.
