I think Fillion from Firefly would be the PERFECT Nathan Drake. He's too old to play the part now. If they did an animated movie, even though Nolan North does a great job, I would love to see Fillion take on the voice acting for it.

Precisely my sentiments. Firefly Fillion would be perfect. Although, people forget that Firefly came out 10 years ago now.

I always pictured Nathan Drake as a late 20's / early 30's type of guy. In the later movies, he could be late 30's. But Fillion is already 41, and that's just a decade too old.

I actually think Andrew Garfield might make a good Nathan Drake. He's already nearly 30 and he has the acting chops to flesh out Drake, especially given good direction. I think he made a good Spider-Man.

I actually thought I'd look up some people I think would make a good Drake, and damn, all of them fell the wrong side of 40.

I couldn't find one I thought would fit the part well who is 20-30s.

If they made a movie, it would probably go to someone like Bradley Cooper or Ryan Reynolds. The best choice would be Ryan Gosling. And while Emily Rose is irreplaceable as Elena, Emma Stone is close.

You know, Bradley Cooper is an interesting mention IMHO. I think the biggest problem with casting Drake is trying to imagine someone capturing that sarcastic, yet somehow warm personality. That's one of the reasons I think Fillion seems like such a fit. But you know, on the personality front, I definitely think Cooper could pull it off. He might have a little more "swagger" than you'd expect from Drake, but definitely could handle the humor and charisma parts. Plus, I think he'd be easier to take serious than Ryan Reynolds for any dramatic scenes that may play out. The only think against him, is I think he's a bit too pretty. Drake always struck me as more the rugged type look, and cooper's more movie star.


And yes, Bruce Campbell IS Sully. Hell, Bruce Campbell as Sam is Sully.
