You're assuming that certain individuals who basically repeat themselves ad naseum across threads will suddenly have a change of heart and start being completely different people. This rarely happens in reality. After giving someone a chance for months, even years, to change their tune, I feel fully justified in making the forums a nicer place to be by making use of the ignore feature. In this case, I put someone on ignore who was trolling me in various threads and being a dick. I gave him several chances, even sent him a PM asking what his problem was, and finally put him on ignore so that I could go back to enjoying the forums without worrying about some bully trying to rain on my parade.

You can call it ignorant all you want. I'll call it bliss.
