WeekEND gaming(6/29/12)- What are YOU playing?

Had my window open. Wake up in the middle of the night - Accuweather said 100% humidity (others say 88 - 94). Though temp is down to 70 or so now, it's warmer inside.

Don't think I'll be running 360, PS3, or PC much tomorrow.

You know, I ran into this game on the N64 that was kind of line the jetpack part of Pilotwings, where you took this guy and flew through rings. It was kind of odd. Maybe Karak should try that one, if I could just remember the name...

I remember when he stopped driving the bus. I never asked where he went, but I saw him several months later in a grocery store looking very downtrodden. Enthusiastic teenager as I was, I smiled and waved. He didn't acknowledge me.

Two months later, in that same grocery store, I saw him on the front page of the local paper in an orange jump suit and handcuffs. Reading the headline, I thought, "Oh."

He was a nice guy, too. I like telling the gist of the story as a bit of a joke, but the whole thing is a bit sad. He was in his twenties and slept with (I think) a 16 year old, can't remember the details now. Word was that she was the one who convinced him to do it. Clearly, he broke the law, but I can't judge the guy. If there wasn't a law that point blank stated sleeping with a 16 year-old was illegal, I'd say he hadn't done much wrong. I mean, as a Christian I have to say "extra-marital sex," but that guy did nothing to warrant a lifetime of continuous legal punishment. She was a willing, even influential party, and he was just a dumb guy. Sad story.

The rest of the world has a lower Age of Consent. Which is weird because the Age of Majority is 18 almost everywhere. So it's legal to have sex with a minor in Europe.
