I was thinking last night that it is funny that mags hates Persona but wanted to play Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Not so funny that he got ripped off though.

I want to game this weekend. I do not want to do much of anything else. Hoping to spend that gaming time with Xenoblade Chronicles, the Retro Pie and who knows what else.

Final Fantasy XV - All FF, all the time. 67 hours in. Level 65 all hunts that can be done are done. Just started Chapter 9.

Also, now that we can have an external HDD on the PS4 I have slowly been working on downloading everything. I had to dance around my bandwidth limit last month and I still have a lot to go so today I took it to work and downloading all I can on 50Mbit and no data caps.

Other things to know:

No, you don't get to serve because you're losing on game point.
Yes, you lose if you make a bad serve on game point.
Yes, it counts as a failed serve if you miss the ball completely.

I remarked on that too. Don't really know enough about either to really say that it's ironic, but from a glance they seem pretty similar.

I'm back in North America, now. It's really weird. Everything's exactly the same. It's like I never left. It seems like such a long time I was gone but so brief. It's making me feel off.

This shit's just weird.

Welcome back! If where you are is anything like NM then it is at least ten years behind everywhere else and moves at a snails pace, so it is very likely that nothing did change.

It is basically a SMT/Persona/Fire Emblem crossover jpop RPG.

I'm just going to nod and pretend that I know what any of that means.

I see the word Persona in there, so I'm going to assume my assumption was correct about it being ironic.

You must have at least heard of Fire Emblem, and if you have never played one you are missing out.

Just know that my description was spot on, and if that description doesn't make you want to run out and play it then I just don't get that. It would be the equivalent of someone telling you they don't know anything or have any interest in either donuts or ping pong.

I plan on playing a ton of Persona 5. I'm still loving it. I'm not sure what I can say about it, so I'll just say that I'm doing more Persona things.

I have been feeling less overwhelmed since I kinda got into a groove of how to spend my time. Although maybe that feeling will come back since I unlocked even more options. I also found some other stuff to worry about instead that I need to figure out.

I feel like garbage. I might leave work early again.

If I play things, it'll be Persona 5. That game is a hoot.

It feels so weird being at work today after being at home with sick kids most of the week. I may see the woman I saw earlier in the week again, getting our respective kids together at a park or something. Could be fun. Otherwise:

Persona 5 Yep, this is going to be it for a good little while. I beat the first dungeon this morning, which wasn't that hard, but it was certainly fun. The writing is as great as ever.

What about if we just talk about Persona all weekend?

My son is evolving into full-fledged teenager mode at the moment. Grr... He's not happy that I made him buy himself a fidget cube to fiddle with in class rather than being a twerp to his classmates, but he'll come to love it... I can't stop fiddling with mine.

Aside from basic parenting 101 this weekend, I'll be playing:

Persona 5 (PS4) - I'm still working on the first Palace (I'm close to the end of April) but the last couple of nights didn't have a lot of time for me to play. Thankfully the training wheels are slowly coming off and I'm able to start working on the social links a bit more. I've never been a huge fan of the demon negotiation part of the SMT/Persona games (if there's a method to the madness for it, I haven't been able to figure it out) but what can you do?

Ace Attorney: Spirit Of Justice
(3DS) - Haven't played this due to P5 and reading a bunch of books, but hopefully I'll play a bit more this weekend.

That's about it. Well, and I've been reading a lot more actual books (not just comics!) so that's eating into my game time somewhat. Sigh...

Also, it is funny that Mags is playing TMS (or wants to) given how it basically served as a Persona-lite stand-in last year. I actually did a double-take when I got to Shibuya in P5 because I'd spent so much time in that same area in TMS last summer.

Woot!

And by "the expansion" you mean, "the first expansion". Because the second expansion just came out. Which I am playing. And it's great.
