I beat Horizon this morning, man that game really nailed it.

I'm home today with my daughter with the flu, which will likely extend into tomorrow, so I'm taking advantage while she naps and diving into Persona 5. Man, that limited edition is awesome.

Is there a tactful way to tell someone that they're playing ping pong incorrectly?

The limited edition is worth it? I can get one if I act fast at BB.

Tell them you want to play ping pong, not ping wrong. Then slap them in the face with the paddle.

Wrapping up day 3 of my trip to the UK. I'm on the Isle of Islay right now, which is the scotch whiskey capital of the world. We went to 3 scotch distilleries today where I sampled 10 whiskies and followed by 3 local craft beers. Tomorrow is three more distilleries. We drive back to Edinburgh on Thursday, touring the high and low lands, then fly to London on Friday morning until we fly back to the US on Monday. No games but good times

I honestly don't know why I didn't think of this.

I think so, but I really like collectibles. The plush and bag are nice, but I'm not touching the art book and soundtrack until I'm done with the game, so I can't really weigh in on those yet.

The actual game, so far, is great.

That sounds like an answer they'd give on MBMBaM.

I barely played any games over the weekend aside from some Clash Royale & Words With Friends because I was so busy watching wrestling. Thankfully that nightmare is over and I can indulge in electronic entertainments again.

Here's what I'm playing this week.

Persona 5 (PS4) - I was able to play about half an hour or so last night before I nodded off (thanks work). That said, I took today off and I've managed to put about 6 or so hours into it so far today. Loving it but I'm also really looking forward to when they take the training wheels off soon (I just made my first social links recently). The game looks and sounds awesome and I'm quite happy I was in a bit of a media blackout for it because I didn't know anything the general plot, aside from "SHADOW THIEVES!". If the rest of the game gives you villains like this initial tutorial dungeon/boss, I'll be quite happy.

Other than that, I don't know. Maybe more Ace Attorney at bedtime? Maybe ME:Andromeda if someone is using the TV and I can't play my sweet, sweet Persona...

I wonder if I can stream P5 to the Vita via remote play...

Well, just so none of you suckers ever play the fool, at least know that when you serve in ping pong, you have to throw the ball up, you can't just hit it out of your hand.

What about if you throw it down, bounce it off the table and then hit it.

I ended up picking up the vanilla version. I might have to pick up Lego City Undercover for Hai this weekend. It made more sense to put that extra money toward that instead of some stuff that will end up in my storage with other memorabilia.

If I can keep the streak of finishing games I have going this year i might finish a Persona game. I do not remember if finishing games was a new years resolution I made but if not it should be.

What if you balance the ball on the paddle, flip it into the air (the ball, not the paddle) and then hit it on the way down.

This, sir, is invalid. Unless, perhaps, you are an invalid.

That all sounds wonderful. There is so much to do in London, enjoy!

He's loving the game so far, although thankfully he's only sent me ~5-6 texts about it.

Well...if there is someone who is going to know about trying adolescents, its going to be the insane person who works with them in a group home.

I'll give some more advice, the "you are going to fail, don't you morons care" isn't going to work either

I believe you did really make that your New Year's resolution.

I dunno, ox being a lawyer he probably knows about trying adolescents to some degree. I used to arrest young shoplifters as well and have a tiny bit of knowledge on it, myself.

Hey, I think I'm entitled to a little bit of exasperation.

Rather than forge ahead in ignorance, the students decided it would be better to start over (I tend to approach decisions like that more democratically). We might go over some of it a little more quickly, now, but since it's technically a review...

What if you put the ball on the table, flick it into the net and have it rebound at such an angle that you can then volley it back to your opponent.

Oh come on, what are the chances that's gonna happen a second time?
