BioShock Infinite is the most Anti-American game of all time, which is why Americans hate it.

Also, letting my fiance stay here with me is gonna take a long ass time.

Oh, I couldn't care less about that. The game tried to handle heavy topics like racism and class very poorly, like a teenager trying to be edgy rather than by trying to say anything of substance, and the whole time travel/multiverse story line was a mess. The game is one big missed opportunity.

Wait, what? Since when do "Americans hate it"?

There is a lot of dislike for the game. Many consider it the weakest in the series.

It could have just been that I wasn't in the mood for that type of game when I played it, but I enjoyed the original far more than either of the sequels. I should try them both again at some point as I never really gave either 2 or Infinite a real fair shake. I just remember gradually losing interest in Infinite and could never muster any interest in 2.

Oh, I know that there a good amount who dislike it, but, the "Americans hate it" sentiment is ridiculous. I'd be willing to bet that more than half of Americans liked it.

Oh crap, do I have to make a poll now?

I felt like Infinite became great once the whole story was revealed. Don't get me wrong, I was really enjoying it up to that point...but the end (and then the DLC) really made it a special experience for me.

I still intend to get the BI DLC someday... if they ever sell the whole thing for $5.

I thought Infinite was far and away the best Bioshock but I was so disappointed in the direction the Burial at Sea took I never even ended up playing it even though I had the season pass. It never dulled my love for the game though.

You can, but your sample isn't going to be adequate to answer your question/hypothesis properly

I did very little gaming this weekend as I was so busy with other things. In fact, from what I recall the only gaming I did at all was an hour or so of To The Moon yesterday with the boyfriend before we had to run off to a wedding shower. Hopefully I'll get in a little more gaming time this week, but it's not looking good. I worked late today and then had to file some tax forms as I'm the treasurer of a local plant society. Now that the forms are done it's on to studying for the class I'm taking on Wednesday and Thursday to get my Pesticide Applicator's License. I'll be reading through as much of the material as I can tonight and tomorrow night, then the class all day Wednesday and a half day on Thursday. Work is paying me to go, which is nice, and they are paying me for the full day Thursday even though I get to spend the afternoon at home, which is even nicer. I'll take the license exam either Friday or next week depending on when they can get me scheduled.

Thankfully this coming weekend is light on plans...so far. Maybe I'll do some gaming then!

I am an American and I think Bioshock Intinite was awesome. The DLC made it even better.

I went and saw Ghost in the Shell yesterday. As an adaptation of GiTS it was pretty bad, as a sci fi action film it wasn't bad. Very visually stimulating, but it was shallow and some things were out right wrong/frustrating. I would see it again, and if you weren't a fan of the anime you might like it more.

Well, Santa was right: My students found a way to break me. They had a week off, and when they came back, yesterday, most of 'em had defaulted to "****ing Moron Mode". Today, I have to find a calmer way of communicating that they are going to fail, if they keep this up—and that I'll be okay with it.

Oh yeah, sometimes we talk about videogames around here.

I didn't game nearly as much as I would have liked this weekend, but I did get to play some Donkey Kong Country Returns; Tropical Freeze with the buddy who I have been playing through the series with. It is awesome, especially with Cranky's ability. He does the whole Duck Tales/Shovel Knight cane bounce attack thing.

Hopefully some Xenoblade Chronicles this week, I have been missing it.

I completed the post-game content of ME:A. Some of it made sense, like taking to various people, but why did they give me another handful of systems to scan? I enjoyed it (I like that part of the series) but I don't get why.
