I have spent a whole week with ME:A, send help. No better yet, send Element Zero! I'm running low on that.

I am the Plague of Shadows. Or something. I beat the Plague Knight campaign in Shovel Knight. Love that game. You guys should have recommended it to me.

I actually haven't played the original shovel knight... I could get on that, got a long flight and layovers coming up real quick.

It's on the Vita, 3DS, and Switch, ya nut.

The last big FFXIV patch went live this morning leading up to the expansion. I've played the first half of the story so far, and yeah, good stuff. An old FF recurring boss makes an appearance, so that was pretty cool.

Speaking of, the FFXIV free trial is now unlimited to level 35, you guys should give it a shot.

I was looking at my bank account, today, and it seems a gas station charged me over $500, last week. This should be fun to sort out.

It is a circular problem, you need a tank because of the roads, but the roads are that way because of the tanks.

Seriously though, I hope you get that worked out. Was it a chain or a local place? Please say chain...

I second this. FFXIV rocks, and unlimited trial to level 35 is very generous.

Well... is that what he's playing on? Do they have good controllers? I don't know!

I sometimes forget that handhelds are a thing. I don't do handhelds.

That it is. It's up through the first 4 man Titan fight, so a decent ways into the story too. You can also do all the Gold Saucer stuff and I think the first 10 levels of Palace of the Dead.

This surprises me, what with you having children at all. The ability to stop and start at any time is invaluable.

We actually have gotten a DS and a 3DS for my first and second son respectively. Mostly instigated by my wife, funny enough.

It is nice knowing I can tell them to stop at any time.

I think I remember Dav saying he had a 3ds. That was where I played it and it played fine.

I thought Dav only used his 3ds to kill Pokémon.

I don't see Purple Santa as the retiring type. I see his endgame as more the "...And nobody ever saw him again" type of deal. ~ Dav

Rails? The DAY/END threads don't need no stinking rails, they just meander like a drunk looking for a bench to flop down on~ Gorvi

He wouldn't be alone in that, but it is a versatile device.

Is it weird that statement conjured an image in my head of a man walking around beating to death real life Pokemon with an oversized 3DS?
