Yeah. I kind of wish it was just our actual area as opposed to the neighbouring area as well. The other area is the one that usually gives me the most headaches and because I'm not as familiar with everything going on over there, it's harder to try to manage. That said, our area has had its share of excitement some weekends, but at least I know the programs here.

That could be because I abhor the idea of anything to do with managing I'll gladly talk down someone from a roof anyway (yes, that happened at one job).
I have had to drive in on a Sunday afternoon to meet with someone and suspend them. Actually, I've had to do that a few times... Fun stuff, that, but I'd almost rather deal with that kind of stuff than sick calls and scrambling for coverage. Blech.

Played a single match in Overwatch as Orisa. She agreed with me. Could definitely see her added to my regular rotation. ...if I still play Overwatch regularly, that is.

Found an og Xbox at the thrift store, passed on it. Then thought better of it and went back, but it was gone. Did walk out with a set of DK bongo controllers and ATV Offroad Fury 4 on the double cheap though!

Again, if there's not a group already playing, I do something else.

I know, I know, I can always ping you. But I don't.

I'm sure you have had to do something similar my supervisor did/had happen recently. There were "rumors" from the individuals that staff on third shift were sleeping. Sure enough, she did a surprise visit, found someone sleeping. Had to suspend them immediately and then eventually fired. So blech indeed.

Why would you not play Overwatch more? No excuse will be accepted!

I am sure I still have my og Xbox. Sad how something that starts out cherished gets sent to a box that sits in an attic. Hmmm...that sounds like me and my former relationships

He just needs to be yelled at. As his internet father, yelling works

I still have mine, but I couldn't help myself when all they wanted was $15. I could have driven down the street to the retro store and sold it for more than that. I wouldn't have though.

You got a box in the attic? Show off...

Damn, how many internet kids do you have?

After my last relationship yelling doesn't do much for me. It is like the music at a retail store, it just fades into the background...

I keep all of my old consoles. I may never turn them on again but every so often I get the urge and it's nice to have them handy so I can fire them up.

Cue me lamenting about my parents selling my NES and Sega Genesis for $5 when I was away in Mexico.

They've done a thing or two to make up for it, I guess, but still!

I mean, the NES they bought, so it makes a little more sense. (although it WAS a Christmas present to me.) But the Genesis I saved up for and bought with my own money. So cold.

Oh, and I almost forgot I beat Lego Marvel Superheroes yesterday. It was fun having all of those characters in the game, but man, the bugs. Nothing like having to restart a level because your character is stuck in the wall, or an infinite death loop, or the game just hard locked.

Cold all around. Ice cold.

I just cannot get my coworkers to understand that they shouldn't install anything at all on their work computers, much less stuff that they didn't initiate themselves and that they have no idea what it even is. I literally watched one just click 'ok' on some facebook installer without even taking a second to read what she was doing.

Except that I am a property manager.

When I transition into IT, which I would like to do in the next year, I will thank them rather than complain.

Played a couple more levels with Plague Knight. Getting more used to his shennanigons. Plus it helps as I get more tools available to me.

D'oh! Well, at least you'll have experience

My daughter wants to turn our basement into an arcade for her birthday party in a few weeks. I dug out the PS2 and Taiko Drum Master kits that I've had kicking around for a million years. The kids played them for a while. I also cleaned up the Tetris cabinet that I got a year or two ago and we decorated it with some videogame stickers.

I then spent the next hour or so playing Frequency on the PS2. I love that game so much and it's scary how much of the muscle memory kicks in once I take a few minutes on a some of the songs. I also found my original Xbox and SSX3, so I might set that up next...

And I plan to include it on my resume.

That sounds so awesome! Do you plan to leave your basement arcade intact after the party? A basement arcade/game room is a dream of mine. Plus a Tetris cabinet! So jealous...

My son insists that he can hear the music in the cabinet but there's nothing except the hum of the CRT. Whoever owned it before us hard coded a bunch of naughty words into the high score table and I can't reset them or beat them.

I'd like to turn that room into more of a game room than it has been. It has potential but I need someone with an eye for design/storage.
