Last Guardian - loved.

I had a serious love hate with this game in sections, but the positives hugely outweighed the negatives. I'm very glad to have played and finish this game.

Oxenfree - What a cool little game. The sound design is phenomenal (great music too) and the story is pretty neat.

Refunct - Liked.

Definitely super short (took me 24 minutes to finish), but definitely worth playing.

I think I ended up around 54 hours, and I really took my time. Whatever you do finish it, it was great!

Shantae: Risky's Revenge (PC) - Liked

First of the year. Started it last year, but restarted it last night.

Fun little platformer. I should track down the Game Boy Color version someday.

I'm at around 40 hours and haven't left the second island.

evilgoodwin - It's on 3DS eShop if you have a 3DS. Have you played the other entries in the series? There are 4 altogether. A new one just came out called 1/2 Genie Hero. It's on Steam, Wii U, and I think PS4/Xbox One.

Final Fantasy 15

Love it, apart from the 10-13 crap. But I did actually like the boss gauntlet at the end. Ifrit hot damn. Kinda shitty new game + starts without quests. But I really love it.

I was wondering what the NG+ would be like. I'm happier just going back and doing the bonus dungeons and hunts than going through the story again.

Orwell - Loved it, but for the love of god, don't ever let me work infosec. I ruined so many lives through my gleeful sharing of information...

Im kinda worried I fucked it up and have to reload an old save to get back to the world. The game doesn't deal well with throwing you back in and making stuff clear at all.

No matter, might just leave it for now if not, Yakuza 0 is in the mail

(I'm stealing Spigot's method since it makes it easier for you crazy guys who actually count this stuff at the end of the year. )

1) This is totally my method!
2) The counting all goes off of the spreadsheet, so only do this is if you like it for yourself.

I use the same method. It's a good reminder of how slow I am at finishing games.

Saint's Row Gat Out Of Hell. Loved it (love the franchise) did some trophy clean up but going for gold on the challenges and some of the power kill count was making me crazy. Can always revisit it later.

The Last Guardian - Complete. Loved it. Despite some camera wonkiness and some growing pains with Trico in the beginning, this game is absolutely brilliant and completely lived up to the prior two games in every way. Hell, it surpasses them. Unlike FFXV (which I still loved), TLG did not feel rushed at all or compromised in any way. This is the game Ueda wanted to make, and gaming is better for it.

That's how I felt about it even though it wasn't necessarily a game I had high hopes for before release. I didn't pre-order and just picked it up on a whim. I finished (and loved) ICO, but didn't make it far into SotC. I'm very glad to have played The Last Guardian.

Far Cry 4 - Loved this game to death. First Far Cry game I've actually put any real amount of time into. Got all the collectibles and did all of the missions/fortress liberations, etc. Just didn't do all of the races and bomb defusings.
