What's wrong with the Toxic Avenger?

So amputation wasn't an option they offered on site then...

Pretty inconsiderate.

Was given an older monitor so I added a third monitor to my setup, mostly so I can keep the RetroPie constantly hooked up. Also because it looks radical awesome having that sort of monitor overkill.

Nothing, but I don't want my lady Ryder looking like she just looked into the Ark Of The Covenant.

So the wife and I saw Get Out last night. It was very good, although a bit overpraised.

If people would just shut up about the stuff they like, we won't have to worry about overpraising or overhyped.

Smartass.

It's a good movie. But the reviews definitely led me to believe it would be a lot more than it was.

I continue making my way through Shovel Knight Plague Knight style. I find myself getting really frustrated with the mechanics, but also enjoying a lot of what is going on.

I've been going around & visiting my Night Awake staff for the past 3-4 hours. Woo. Now I have an hour drive home.

You do surprise visits? My only reason I would become a program supervisor, is to do nite checks like that. Yes I have issues.

I've done no playing this week. MEA is installed on my Xbox and i'm at the front door for the December dungeon in P4G. Been getting home pretty late, just been vegging when home. I have a family session tonight which usually run long, I doubt any gaming tonight. Thankfully the weekend is so so near...

No argument there.

Yeah, we're supposed to do unannounced night visits quarterly. Ostensibly it's to help foster more of a connection with the overnight staff, who admittedly don't have a lot of regular contact with management unless something goes wrong. It is also to ensure that they're not sleeping when they're being paid to be awake, or worse.

I've heard some really interesting stories from other managers. Thankfully my programs are pretty chill at night and it was just a chance to stay up late and not have to go into work today.

Would have been even nicer if the staff at one home had read my email saying not to call me this morning...

Still haven't started up Plague Knight myself, or maybe I played a bit of the first stage right after it released. I should make that a priority, I loved the first campaign so much.

I have spent the past couple of days messing around with my retro pie. I may play some Xenoblade Chronicles or Abzu tonight, or I may just keep adding and checking out games on the pie.

All this Shovel Knight talk has me wanting to pick it up on the Switch. I have no business doing that with all the Zelda I'm not playing, but still...there's an urge.

The intro world bit at the start of Mass Effect Andromeda overstays its welcome just a bit too much for my tastes. Finally into the game proper now and spent a good chunk of time reading all of the codex entries. Yay for lore!
