What did you think of Bioshock Infinite?

Because I've got nothing better to do.

Dammit, Keck, sparse it out. You're making the End/Day threads too meta.

It was pretty good. The artistic direction was great but I always end up disliking the endings to time travel/multiple universe deals.

I liked it a lot while I was playing it, though in retrospect the gameplay was pretty seriously dissonant from the narrative in ways previous Bioshock games were not, and they really didn't consider very deeply the messages they were sending with that.

But I loved the lighthouse metaphor and the Lutece twins and many many things about the overall narrative.

The DLC was great until the end, at which point I got pretty annoyed by how over-connected they decided to make every single facet of the stories between the games.

I thought the open over the top combat was fun, but I couldn't get into it like I did the original Bioshock. I didn't care about why I was there or what I was doing. Bioshock kept me engaged in the story and atmosphere from the very start when you swim away from the burning wreckage until the end of the game.

Not one person has marked themselves down for the negative camp. That surprises me a lot, and I was the one trying to make a point that people generally liked the game!

End/Day threads and meta in the same sentence is all kinds of disturbing.

You could always ease your pain knowing your sample is flawed

muddi is pretty open about this point on a regular basis. Do you have him on ignore?

I don't see Purple Santa as the retiring type. I see his endgame as more the "...And nobody ever saw him again" type of deal. ~ Dav

Rails? The DAY/END threads don't need no stinking rails, they just meander like a drunk looking for a bench to flop down on~ Gorvi

Hell, 'derail'? This is like calling the surface of the sun 'warmish'. Somewhat lacking in appropriate magnitude~ Jpublic

If anything, I would have guessed that our group would skew more negative than a true representative sample.

The existence of this thread proves otherwise.

And I was only kidding before. We suffer muddi on a regular basis.
