That is a good point, Skydrive or for that matter Google Drive will help dramatically and most things I want I can stream. The price is still a hurdle that is very large to jump.

Thing is, I have no need for a tablet.
I DO have need for an ultraportable PC for running REAL apps and creation/development. I would really appreciate active digitizer (Waccom-like) on my screen for painting. If I needed a tablet, there are lots of more portable, less expensive options. Honestly though, I've had enough of dumbed-down tablets and their limitations. Other than reading a PDF, there isn't anything for which I NEED a limited tablet. Hell, I can even read PDFs on a real PC, although the tablet form factor makes it a bit nicer.
