I was finally able to get a pro controller on PrimeNow. This thing is 2x heavier than I expected.

Other than the initial setup I've only ever used the Pro. I really like it, but the placement of the Home button can be annoying on occasion.

I'm almost positive it's not an interference issue, but the gyro motion on the pro controller is worlds better than the joycons.

All jitter and over steer on the bow in BOTW is completely gone with the pro controller. The gyro aiming is really smooth on the controller.

Sigh. I keep hoping it'll come back in stock anywhere. It claimed to be available on BestBuy earlier today, but when you added it to the cart it claimed it couldn't be shipped.

On either the 22nd or the 23rd a lot of Gamestops are supposed to get stock for in-store purchase. Not bundles, just the system itself.

It will probably be difficult to get though, as they are kind of advertising this.

Nintendo is doubling production of the Switch, and I'm sure this will include increased production of the accessories as well. Hopefully the Pro controller will be easier to find soon. I'm hesitant to spend $70 on a controller, but I'll probably get one in April.

It really is. I tried my boyfriend's and it's very comfortable and well made. I wish it had analog triggers but oh well. The triggers are still much nicer than the ones on the joycon.

I was able to get mine through PrimeNow, if that helps at all.

It is. I'm not sure it's worth the money they're charging (maybe I'd feel differently if I cared about amiibos) but it is very nice. This is only based on Zelda, but this is the best implementation of gyro-controls-as-a-pointer of any device I've ever used; it's really accurate without any jitter.

I just checked Prime Now and sure enough they're in stock. I completely blew through my gaming budget this month and then some, but come April it will be mine.

After teasing it on Twitter yesterday, Square Enix has announced that a Seiken Densetsu collection is coming to the Switch in Japan this June. No word on a Western release, but I hope there is one.

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/201...intendo_switch

There are three Seiken Densetsu games. The first was released in the West as Final Fantasy Adventure on the Gameboy. The second was released as Secret of Mana on the SNES. The third was also released for the SNES but never made it outside Japan. Apparently it's a great game.

It won't come here. They're not spending money to translate that third game.

Probably not, but you never know. My guess is that they won't. It would probably be a pain in the ass to localize it at this point anyway, even beyond the translation itself.

They did translate some of the Final Fantasy games for collections like this back in the PS1 days.

Sadly Prime Now doesn't deliver to Pittsburgh yet, but I'm glad at least stock exists somewhere. I'll keep watching. I already REALLY like using the gyro aiming for the bow just using the Joy-Cons so I'm sure if it's even better with the Pro I'll love it.

No Prime Now in Pittsburgh? I figured it had rolled out to every large city by now. We've had it here for awhile now.

I doubt it will come here either, but I wouldn't completely rule it out. Square Enix did translate and update several Dragon Quest titles for the DS and 3DS. Secret of Mana has a good reputation and some name recognition, especially among older gamers.

I could see Nintendo chipping in to help fill out the catalog, like they did with Bravely Default and Bravely Second.

If you guys somehow don't have a screen protector yet this is the one. Two for the price of a junky plastic one from Nintendo, fits perfectly, comes with wet and dry cleaning cloths and tape hinges for positioning, goes on without any air bubbles, looks and feels great. Can barely tell it's there.

Apparently a lot of GameStops and other stores got Switches in today. Worth checking around if you're looking for one.

EDIT: Went by Gamestop for other reasons. They did get some Switches this morning (I think that they said they had five?), and sold out within 40 minutes.

That's the one I got. Really good product.
