Star Wars Angry Birds is great fun. I hate the angry birds but its Star Wars.

Was into My Singing Monsters but its too much of a time sink.

If anyone like resource management games (which I historically haven't) you may want to look into Skylanders: Lost Islands. It's pretty fun so far and free with in app purchase mechanic. I've tried a few of these (We Rule, etc) and never really cared for them. Maybe the Simpsons got me primed for it. Who knows. Of course I have been kind of fascinated with the Skylanders property lately and have been wondering if its fun and/or worth the expense.

That's one of the first games I plan on getting with my iPad Mini. Definitely going to keep this thread in mind.

I hadn't played an Angry Birds game before so having it in the Star Wars verse, just screams at me to play being such a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise.

Little Inferno is the new game from the folks who brought us World of Goo. I'm really enjoying it - it's beautifully designed and very interesting, with a seriously dark sense of humor. Well worth a look.

Seriously, Brock was all over this game during the Steam Sale. I don't know that he has an iPad, but I bet he'll be watching this one too for it to go on sale.

Ah, so it's available on other platforms? Makes sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if the iPad was considered the definitive version, though. I can't imagine it being as engaging without a touch interface, and it looks gorgeous on the retina display.

I also picked up The Room while it's on sale for a buck, but I got totally sucked into Little Inferno; it's the first time in a while that I've nearly run down the battery before turning in for the night.
