The mod reminds me of when I used to paintball. Lots of sneaking around and being anxious/bored, followed by moments of action and terror. And to those who don't think there can be terror in paintball, you have never been shot in the nuts.

The penny arcade comic leaves out the last panel.

The last panel is where the guy running gets killed by another player where the guy crawling doesn't because they never see him.

On top of that, the last panel isn't accurate. If the guy on the ground doesn't move when zombie herder runs by the zombies aren't going to switch focus.

All true to some extent. The more methodical you are in your play, the longer you'll live. Especially in the dark.

You can still die to zombies even if you have all the best gear, I've seen it happen multiple times. Now that zombies hear guns again and pistols have been nerfed it can sometimes be hard to manage zombies when you're outdoors. They can get that one lucky hit and break your bones and if you're unlucky that could be it.
