Windows 8 RTM

I'm not getting it, but if I did, I'd probably shortcut them through Steam just as a giant middle finger to the OS. Nothing I saw in video about 8 is appealing to me in the least as a normal mouse/keyboard user. It looks like a great touch OS, but Windows 7 is the better desktop OS.

Agreed. Now really having had time with it I like 8. Its a BIG change though. And may be too big for some people to swallow. But I agree, MS was firmly in the right understanding the changes that have happened and are happening.

Its also frigging fast. Some serious improvements to Windows 7 in some departments which I like a great deal.

As I'm getting to use it more, the ONLY thing that isn't better is having to get used to a new start menu. It's fast. Incredibly fast. It makes Windows 7 seem slow. Once you get used to it, things get better.
