If we're getting this granular, I guess I'll boast about being the top sharpshooter.

I messed around a little with the moogle festival in FFXV before it ended this weekend, but I haven't really played much since. I need to get back to Tales of Berseria and Toukiden Kiwami this week. I've been trying to catch up on some TV shows and movies, so I might just stick with that instead of gaming.

I didn't actually see the fireworks either. I mostly just grabbed a few event exclusive items. I'll just watch anything I missed too.

I'm soooooo close to the end of Gravity Rush 2. Or I've beaten it, I don't know. The game rolled credits at the end of Chapter 3, but it has a fourth chapter, which I'm now almost done with. Either way, great game.

Top of the list = top leader. Stats are meaningless. Numbers have no value. Only the order of the list shall count.

Honestly, some of those numbers are inflated by sheer laziness.

For example, I equipped LarsenNET with the RAGE armor (a DLC armor set) and after a few missions of hilarity with it (it occasionally causes enemies to panic on seeing him), I just kept him on instead of switching him out.

My previously mentioned overuse of Crittias is another example, which had the fallout making me use Spigot less, because (some special missions aside) you're only allowed one Leader per mission.

Oh, and for completeness sake, I used the following Mods:
  • Long War SMG Pack (never used these weapons much)
  • Long War Laser Pack (awesome)
  • Long War Leader Pack (I never advanced leader skills much)
  • Total Concealment (this one prevents the turns counter in missions from falling until you leave concealment, but reduces the number of turns to compensate)
  • Avatar Project Slowdown (this doubles the amount of points the Avatar project needs to make you lose, but was a massive waste of time because I managed the project properly)

I may never play an XCOM game, but I really like the stories that come out when people play. Reading the silliness on the stats from jp's play through was very much needed.

I began my day early, I do supervision on Wednesdays (8am) but was stuck in traffic missing my supervision time. I really wanted to go home and take another day but I had a meet and greet at the group home, I didn't want my supervisor stuck with that (we also had a staff meeting). I had to run home realizing I was not coordinating color at all with my clothes, then arrived at work being told the meet and greet canceled. At least I was able to come home after the staff meeting.

I'm very ready for this week to be over. I'm watching my sister's kids (3 and 1) in the evenings and it's...tiring to go from zero kids to two kids. It wouldn't be so bad if my wife wasn't sick enough that she's staying home so I'm all alone with these two clowns. Yuck.

Plus I'm staying out at her house and they don't have internet.

I like kids under 5. They are a ton of fun. Especially when you get to go home after all the fun

Well, they live in the country where there's no cable lines so the only high speed they can get is satellite and they aren't tech people at all so the cost doesn't appeal to them.

They do have DirecTV, which is sort of cool since I don't have tv service (why would I? I have the internet!)

Yeah, I hear that. They're really good kids, it's just tiring. Don't know how Gorvi handles the single dad thing. I'm definitely not made to do this alone.

I believe I am suffering under what I call Gamer's Ennui.

Specifically, having completed a game, I have no clue what I really feel like playing right now.

Their priorities are all out of whack! I have heard some shitty things about satellite internet, though, both in terms of service and price.

Oh, you get used to it, every day is an endurance run. The key is a stun gun and generous amounts of tranquilizers.

Three year old and a one year old? Don't they go to sleep at like 6? Crack that whip, get them to sleep, and enjoy a quiet evening of reading!
