So, is there a way to choose classes for your soldiers in the "first" XCOM? It seems like they are always randomly assigned. I've got snipers coming out my ears and shotgunners up to my eyeballs. Everything else, as you can probably infer, is lacking. :/

A recent mission tried to send me out with three snipers and three assault.

Good luck Mags!

Always rogue. I'm probably playing board games with you as everyone else is getting shot at

I don't recall 100%, but I don't believe so. I remember there's an upgrade to the Officer Training School that makes rookies come in with classes pre-assigned, but that's it.

Well, it was a pretty late dinner on Friday night. We had a cub scout meeting at 7:00 where we thought dinner was being provided. It wasn't. So we got Indian afterward.

Oh yeah, there is that. I should probably get it. I've finally got some more satellites almost ready to go, so I should have more money to play with.

I've also lost two members of the council. Can't tell if that's a big screw up, or just part of the game. I didn't FEEL like I had a lot of control over the situation. (I always tried to take missions in the areas with the most panic. Was there more I could have done?)

Most strategies I know of advise working on the satellites as much as possible - if they have coverage they don't cut and run.

Ohhhh. I get it. Yeah, it'll get eaten eventually. And we ended up having an early Valentine's sushi lunch today after all.

So, apparently Purple Santa and myself are neck in neck when it comes to playing through Mafia 3 ever so slowly...

I've already finished this on the PS4, so whoever would like a Steam copy of Song Of The Deep, have at it!

Cool! Enjoy. It's a lot of fun and the music is excellent.

I've got a pile of games to give away thanks to that Humble Freedom Bundle.

While I think it's an excellent deal for a ton of great games, if anyone sees something on there that they'd like, let me know. I could very well have a key available for you!

So, after the snow, it rained. Now part of my house is flooded (again), and my Internet is out.

Started up Deus Ex: MD this evening and did the opening mission. Despite some screen tearing, I really liked what I saw so far. I also just beat another 6 Special World levels in Super Mario 3D Land a moment ago, getting all 3 Star Coins in each level like a boss! Only 15 more levels to go in what is a great great game.

Sorry. Even though I have it on PS4 I've been waiting for it to be on sale on PC so I used the code this time. Anything else catch your eye?
