Finished Games 2016

Posting for any eager beavers who plan on finishing games tomorrow.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...6JU/edit#gid=0

For those who are new around these parts, the idea is that you can report the video games that you finish this year in this thread. For your convenience, we will record each person's finishes in the google doc linked above. (If you are not on the "Gamers" tab of the document, and wish to be, just let us know.) If you aren't completing the game for the first time, you can indicate that it is a replay. Happy gaming!

Well I'm glad this exists. There's no way in hell I'm beating Fallout 4 or Just Cause 3 before the year is over.

Hey Keck just wanted to say thanks for compiling last year's, it's real helpful for putting together my personal "best of". Cheers!

Halo 5 - beaten. I guess I liked it; I didn't dislike it.

My favorite aspect of the game was the vertical set pieces, which really worked well with the gameplay. Fighting The Marshal five or so times wasn't fun though.

The game looked great and the music/sound/voice was awesome as usual.

To be fair, you said you wanted to finish less but finish longer games. This is just going with your new goal

Just blame it on your wedding anniversary, having to spend that time with the wife and all.

I don't see Purple Santa as the retiring type. I see his endgame as more the "...And nobody ever saw him again" type of deal. ~ Dav

Game Of Thrones: Season 1 - Quite enjoyed it, especially the big dance number after the credits rolled.

Just Cause 3 - beaten.

I'm not even sure I could tell you why. Sometimes you start blowing stuff up, and you just keep doing it, I guess.

Beyond Gravity - Liked

Scratched that casual game itch. Not really game you can finish, but I 100%'d the achievements.

I ended up not playing much or checking my PC often for a few months near the end of last year, and since that meant I didn't finish many games, for some reason I stopped checking the previous thread since I was behind on so many posts (which I should have just skipped after Keck had already updated). One of my goals this year is to play more games and actually finish more of them, especially from my backlog. Another goal is to actually get back to helping Keck out. I'm already a little behind on the playing games part of that, but I updated the list, so hopefully I can keep up with that and not feel overwhelmed by having a ton of updates to do at once again.

Thanks for the help, when you could manage it. I feel like you were really carrying things for a while there. I have gotten more in the habit of staying on top of it lately. We'll see how things go over time.

Use this site: http://howlongtobeat.com/

It'll let you know how long it'll take to beat a game. I found it useful for polishing off a few games in my backlog. Sometimes it's nice to beat a short game after putting 30 hours into something like Mordor.

Ha ha, I guess I just take it for granted that people know the deal at this point. This is just a thread for people to record games that they finish. We've been doing it for several years now. And we record the info on the linked Google doc.
