Hey guys...

Not really a game, but I just put up a Kickstarter for a gamer marketplace. Imagine peer-to-peer selling and buying of used games.

I posted about it here, but thought I would drop a link in this Kickstarter thread as well.

I just backed Dusk City Outlaws, a PnP RPG by a designer who worked on D&D 5e, Lords of Waterdeep, among other games. In short, it's a fantasy heist-based RPG, where you form a group of outlaws, thieves, and con-men to pull off jobs for the local cartels.

It's basically tailor made for running a campaign type I've been wanting to play for a while, and I plan on running some games online for friends. Since it seems like it supports both ongoing campaigns and one-offs it sounds like it would work well rotating players in and out of the group between sessions, so if people here want to get in on some of those games I'd welcome them!

15 hours left in the campaign, and you'll get the current PDFs of the rules right away!

Listen to me rant on the Immortal Machines PC Gaming Podcast!
I also run Erratic Gamer, and sometimes write about games there.

I have a LAN party this weekend and I'll see if I can run a game of it there. I'll report back, although that'll be too late for the campaign. They have a bunch of session videos up on their page if you want to see how it runs before backing.

That does sound awesome. I loves me a good heist and am always looking for a new setting/set of rules. Grabbed the PDF version since it would be a little too rich for my blood to grab the physical version at this point.

I'm watching a playthrough the Penny Arcade guys did of the game and it's already getting me hooked in before they even get to the heist portion. The character generation is quick and easy and the planning has some nice mechanics. This is the kind of RPG you could jump into at the drop of a hat and easily bring new players into a group for one session.
