Newegg Pre Order FAQ

Important Information:
-The "Release Date" will be listed at the top of the items' description page.
-Your credit/debit card will not be charged until your pre-ordered item is in stock and ready to ship.
-You can void your pre-order before it has been processed.
-Once your item is in stock, your pre-order will be converted into a sales order. You will then receive regular order status emails as your order is processed.
-If you purchase an in-stock item with a pre-order item, you will be charged accordingly for the available product and the difference when your pre-ordered item is in stock and ready for shipment.
-Pre-ordering is not currently available for items offered for purchase from Newegg Marketplace sellers.

How to check the status or cancel a Pre-order:
-Log into your Newegg account at the top right of the Newegg webpage.
-Enter your Newegg Login ID and password. (If you do not remember your Newegg Login ID or password select the "Forgot your password" link.)
-Click on your name at the top right of the Newegg webpage.
-Click on "Pre-Order Status" under the "Orders" menu to your left.
-Select the Pre-Order you would like to cancel.
-Click "Cancel Order".
-Your request to cancel the order will be submitted and you will receive an email confirming the status of your cancellation request within 1 business day.

$10 is almost run of the mill. Also they don't charge until it's shipped so that's a plus.

Yeah, I didn't really give any good info, sorry about that. I just stuck with the free shipping since I don't want to pay extra for faster shipping.

I bit and went ahead and pre-ordered all the games I'd had at Amazon. I'm going to keep both pre-orders just in case Amazon drops prices between now and release.

Hmmmm, newegg has a pretty primitive checkout system. I guess if you wanted to cancel one game in the order you have to see if Customer Service game cancel one item and not the whole order.

I pre-ordered all the games I would have bought at Amazon because of the $10 and now there's sales tax on Amazon >_>
