Played some Crysis tonight on a whim and it clicked so wonderfully tonight. I love the big open areas and many ways to tackle a mission. A 2007 game still looks damn amazing too.

This just means that when the next consoles release, my PC will probably encounter a massive hurdle. It can play anything now at ultra but the console leap should finally allow PC games to leap even further ahead, which will fuck me up. Ah whatever, I have a new job. BRING IT ON!!!

It depends on the light gun game. I've always had a soft spot for Time Crisis.

I used to love a game called Zero Point too, which was more about accuracy than speed.

Will probably be playing more Skyrim and seeing Avengers this weekend. I am not big-into comic books, but enjoyed the Iron Man movies well enough, and want to see Whedon's version of a big-budget-summer-comic-book-blockbuster-movie-thing. (Have not seen either of the Hulks, Thor, or Capt. America.)

When I'm not studying for finals I am hoping to play some more Tales of Graces f, I want to beat it soon and get a decent way into Xenoblade Chronicles before Diablo 3 comes out. When it comes to portable games I finally made a bit of headway in Devil Survivor 2 and I'm messing around a bit with Tales of the Abyss, I still need to go back to Kid Icarus. I only beat the third level :-/

Oh god, kill me. I'm so stuffed and I haven't eaten anything since 8pm. The problem was that I ate a big late lunch at 4ish and then we ordered Chinese for supper and I ate too much of it. I'm so full I think I just felt my dinner kick.

I couldn't muster up the energy to game tonight, so I watched 3 more episodes of Game Of Thrones. It says something about how well it is done that even knowing what is going to happen, I'm riveted to the TV for multiple hours at a stretch.

Well, it's time to get some shut-eye for Free Comic Book Day tomorrow, followed by a massive Spring Cleaning spree. Woo.

Aw yeah, Crysis! I really, really liked that game. I didn't play it til 2009 or 2010, and that was with a brain loaded with all those reviews that said "great to look at, not so great to play." What a load of garbage! Great game to the end... and then you get to play Warhead on top of it!

As for the tech leap with the next gen... I'm not too worried about it. I don't think we're going to see the sort of leap that makes today's beast machine tomorrow's kitten.

Edit: Man, Costco is like Sam's Club for self-entitled assholes. Their parking lot is a deathtrap of fuckers in their Audis and Mercedes flying around corners and through stop signs. I guess they make enough money that a manslaughter conviction wouldn't be a huge deal to them.

So, yeah. The Avengers was fucking fantastic. After sitting through the credits of all five movies for those 30 second teases...the payoff was tremendous. Kudos to you Joss Whedon.

Note to self, don't take Muddi's advice on iPad games unless you want to become totally addicted to time killer games. I've been playing Piggy and Jetpack Joyride for the last 2 hours. ADD might not get her iPad back now.

Jetpack Joyride is the only game I seriously miss from my iPad. It is a proper amount of fun.

My shop had a rule that if you got the Mouseguard hardcover, you could only pick out 8 other books. I think that's fair. Thankfully, I brought my son and he got all of the kid books in his stack and I grabbed the ones that appealed to me in my stack. I also grabbed Tale Of Sand while I was there. This has been an expensive week for comics (grabbed far too many trades while in there earlier in the week).

Honestly, at this point I go to FCBD and stand in line for a half an hour before the shop opens to make sure that I get my copy of the Atomic Robo FCBD issues. I missed the first year that they gave them out due to work and cried for a long time when I couldn't get my hands on them (I've since read it on Comixology). Dr. Dinosaur is awesome.
