Black Ops 2. How are none of you talking about this?
So, I'm as tired of Call of Duty as the next guy. I detested Black Ops, and I entirely skipped Modern Warfare 3.
But Black Ops 2 looks fucking awesome. Maybe I'm just a fan of having shit set in the future, but c'mon. At the very least, it seems like they're trying something somewhat different. The trailer is fun. |

Infinity Ward does the better CoD games anyways. Treyarch's okay but Black Ops was meh and this one doesn't really interest me. I'm much more excited for the new GRaW:FS game. That looks fantastic.

I have zero faith left in the Ghost Recon series after the absolute mess that was GRAW. What I've seen of FS doesn't restore any faith either.

Which part would you like me to mention? The utter disregard for what made the earlier games great? The shoddy hit detection? The change in level design to include pointless clutter to force you to use the UAV instead of trusting the player to have halfway decent eyesight? The piss-poor excuse for multiplayer, including shitty chokepoint maps?

I remember playing the piss-poor excuse and having fun with it for a long time. Longer than any of the recent CoD titles.
Black Ops 2 looks interesting, but I don't know if I want to buy another Call of Duty game. I'm in if they let you control mechs. If all of those future goodies are single player only, I'm out. |

COD4 was super awesome then MW2 jumped the shark. I haven't cared since then. Now that the developer is destroyed, the series in my eyes was destroyed with it.
