Woo! Got a call from HR today telling me that I'm automatically passed forward to the second round of interviews for the manager position. They don't want to bother wasting my time or theirs since they just did the first round interview with me a couple of months ago. Phew. I have precious little time as it is.

This guy killed 11 teammates and shot down our helicopter so I chased him across the entire island and finally scoped him. Around 30 minutes of chasing him and setting up an ambush. Luckily I had heavy armor peircing load instead of the normal hollow points I use. The god damned bullet drop at that distance was insane.
NEVER felt that god damned awesome. I could hear him screaming into the mic in group chat.

Arma 2...my old new favorite game.

I set up a user in California for a MS Project SCCM install last Friday. I gave him all the info that he needed for the procedure and told him to let me know if he had any issues. I got to work this morning to find an email from him stating: "I'm in the Santiago, Chile office right now. Will this still work?"

"Umm... No, we will have to get creative."

I ended up zipping the installation package, remoting to his machine and copying it to his desktop. Took about an hour. Installed it, deleted the package and had him test it. Ta-Daa! Buddha's mad skillz cross continents! Never would have done something like that at the old insurance company! Also built three virtual machines on a new server for the Anchorage office. Life is good!

Picked up The Ball at Half Price Books yesterday for $4.00. Installs on Steam and spent about an hour getting to know it. Got to the point where I get to squish the locals. Great fun!

Uh oh. I just signed up for it a month or so ago. I do like the freebies but I'm not liking the idea of changes... unless it's for MORE freebies.

Well, I just finished 2 of the 5 endings for Analogue: A Hate Story. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the stuff from the Security AI's side of things but I don't have a save from early enough to manage that, i don't think.

Interesting game. Found out after it is done that all of the misogyny is based on a certain period of Korean history. They've basically just translated it to a spaceship to make us squirm even more. The big nasty surprise isn't really as shocking as I thought it would be given some of the chatter about the game, but I don't blame the perpetrator for doing what they do given the nasty, nasty circumstances.

Pocket review: If you like visual novels with a hint of Uplink, grab it on a sale when it's under $5. It is a step closer to the Social Link game I've been dreaming of, but the writing and just general oddness of the setting/culture portrayed in the game just isn't quite up to par.

Went out tonight, got a bit drunk barhopping looking for girls, but there were none that weren't attached. Almost hung around one place to steal some guy's date because he was boring, but I didn't feel like waiting.

I'm glad I jumped back into the Imperial Agent's story. It's like Evil James Bond.

Truly a great story. My 2nd favorite. Really dug the uniqueness of it.

I'd say Karaoke because you find it fun. Girls are only trouble though.

Sniper elite V2 is the better choice.
