Because they realized they have run out of decent mutants, and have to resort to Banshee.

Oh man oh man oh man. I've been looking to get back into Portal 2.

I hope they make it easy to find maps made by your friends.

the First Class movies would stay set in the past - the sequel will be set around the MLK assassination and the Apollo missions supposedly - while New Mutants would be set in the present. Its not a huge distinction I admit.

I've been hoping for another Rune game for years! I had so much fun in the multiplayer. Cut off a guys arm, pick it up, then chase him down and beat him to death with it! Ahhh, it really is the simple things in life.

Also, can't wait for the perpetual testing initiative. I haven't looked much into it but can co-op maps be made as well?

I just watched the Portal testing trailer a little more closely, and there are recreations of some actual Portal 2 puzzle rooms in the quick montage at the end. Very cool.

Cool because... the tool is theoretically powerful enough to create puzzles on par with the actual game?

Edit: Or cool because it's a fun little Easter Egg for the video?

Both. I'm sure there are some puzzles that aren't possible, but considering the boxy nature of most of the test chambers I bet the majority can be recreated.

This is one of them:

This, this, a million times this. To this day, no game has done multiplayer sword and board as well as Rune. It was just absurdly fun, and a multiplayer focused sequel sounds fantastic.

Maybe in the multiverse Viacom were the ones who created Portal 2?
