Haha. That'd be awesome. When you call in Littlefinger there's a 10% chance he damages you instead.

I don't really want a fighting game though. Memorising endless sequences of buttons isn't my idea of fun. But I've said it before and I'll say it again; I'd pay good money for a ASOIAF strategy game in the style of the old PS2 Romance of the Three Kingdoms games.
Memorizing button combinations might be the least convoluted and insane element of fighting games these days Which is why I can't play Skullgirls.

The between level mini games all involve sexing either Shae, Ros or the Knight of Flowers.

Alt characters/unlocks: Catelyn/Lady Stoneheart. Barristan Selmy/Whitebeard. Arya/Arry/Cat of the Canals. Theon/Reek. Jaqen/God of Many Faces (constantly changing). Healthy Beric/First return of Beric/Beric after too many resurrections. And so on.

Brilliant ideas!

What about wildlings too? Mance, the one John bedded, the crow guy (god I'm bad at names) etc. Also could wear the skins of animals like bran. Call in support of animals!

I would also demand that one of the levels be based in Crasters home with the background filled with his many many wives.

Not for the entire series. If we're talking about every fighter at their prime, though, that means Jaime with both hands and banging his sister.

I forgot to add that when I listed alt characters! Prime Jaime, and "humbled" one-armed Jaime. Good one.

Exactly. As well, that's what causes Stannis to age more rapidly. He's giving away part of his "life force" every time they make them.

A fighting game would be a waste of the license, IMHO. Half of the time it's fighting in that world, sure, but then you throw away all the politics.

Unless...unless you made it a politics driven strategy game that drops into a 2d fighter at certain possible plot points....:O

It would be a fan-service game. Allow people to mess around with the characters we know and love (or hate), stylishly drawn, in recognizable environments.

The problem with making strategy games and RPGs is that if you want to give the player the ability to participate in the politics of the world and have a real impact, you have to discard or disrupt the story and characters from the novels.

Cao Cao!!

Man, that would be an awesome game. Even a Civ game could do some justice, but Dynasty Warriors-like would be the best.

DW has the right sort of concept, which is why I said Romance of the Three Kingdoms. DW is based on RotTK, but the RotTK games are more strategy/politics and less action, which is why I think they would work so well for ASOIAF.

I just can't believe that someone is trying to make a GoT MMO - MMOs need a LOT of disposable enemies to kill (mostly animals) and Westeros...doesn't have them. Basically the only predators south of the wall are bears and wolves, so you're just going to be killing dudes constantly, I guess.
